My first herb garden; a tiny patch, in a pocket of soil beneath the newly built sandstone wall near the kitchen door, was planted up with vibrant green curly-leaved parsley, blue-green sage, flowering chives and a froth of white-flowered thyme which trailed across the narrow ledge of moss-covered sandstone. It made a very pretty picture but was woefully inadequate for our needs.
It looks lovely.
