Phlomis russelliana

'Phlomis russelliana created another tall statement and by September the hooded yellow flowers had developed into rusty brown seed heads in whorls along the flowering stem. The leaves on these stems took on a butter-yellow appearance, whilst the woolly leaves grew larger, holding the early morning dew.'
